REVIEWING YOUR WRITING

 Once you have written your first draft you will need to check that you have fulfilled the assignment brief by answering the following questions:

• Have I covered all the areas asked for in the assignment (including the areas in the marking criteria)?
• Have I incorporated critical analysis into my assignment?
• Have I read a wide range of academic sources?

If you find that you are struggling to complete your assignment there are a range of people who you can speak to for advice.

• If you are having problems understanding the assignment brief or the subject knowledge, then the best person to speak to is your lecturer. It is quite acceptable to go and ask your lecturer for his/her advice. Many lecturers have specific appointments to help with any difficulties.
• If you are having difficulty finding relevant material then you can speak to one of our teachers. You can book an appointment with a subject specialist.
